Along with the implementation of the Compliance Management System, REMZAP has implemented a Gift Policy, which defines the basic terms and conditions for giving and accepting gifts by its employees.
The defined principles are aimed at clarifying the rules indicated in the Code of Ethics and the Anti-Corruption Code, and at broadening the knowledge on the types of gifts, acceptable terms and conditions related to their accepting and giving.
An excerpt from the Gift Policy of REMZAP Sp. z o.o.
- The following rules apply to gifts exceeding the value of PLN 200 gross:
- When offering gifts, it is required to provide information to the appropriate organisational unit obliged to issue appropriate income statements,
- When receiving gifts, a record shall be made on a monthly basis, which is then forwarded to the appropriate organisational unit, in order to include it in tax settlements.
- Offering gifts on a regular basis (exceeding PLN 400 gross for a period of 1 year) to the same person is forbidden.
- Accepting a gift, financial gain, or personal advantage by an employee:
- participating in a procurement procedure, or
- being directly involved in the selection of suppliers or service providers, or
- supervising performance of contracts, or
- accepting works (confirming their completion) is prohibited
- The acceptance of a gift by an employee, in the form of cash or cash equivalents (e.g. gift vouchers, shares) is prohibited.
- Rules regarding the cost of meals (including drinks) during business meetings. The cost should not exceed (on average per person):
- Breakfasts: PLN 100 gross in Poland and the equivalent of EUR 50 gross abroad,
- Dinners: PLN 150 gross in Poland and the equivalent of EUR 75 gross abroad,
- Suppers: PLN 200 gross in Poland and the equivalent of EUR 100 gross abroad.
- Regarding each business meeting, the cost of tips, if any, is charged to the inviting person and covered by private funds.
